Presidential math, science teaching award nominations open

Nominations are open for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government specifically for K-12 mathematics and science teaching. Anyone may nominate exceptional mathematics or science teachers – including computer science teachers – who are currently teaching grades 7-12 for the 2016-17 award year. Nominate a teacher for earth science award

Nominations are open for the National Association of Geoscience Teachers’ 2016 Outstanding Earth Science Teacher Award, which is given to educators who have contributed to the stimulation of interest in the earth sciences at the pre-college level.
