Stephanie Bellot-Donaldson, a Spanish Literacy teacher at Hawthorne Elementary School (Jefferson County) and 2024 Kentucky World Language Association (KWLA) Outstanding Teacher of the Year, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT) regional Teacher of the Year award.
Stephanie Bellot-Donaldson, a Spanish teacher in the Spanish Immersion program at Hawthorne Elementary School (Jefferson County), is the 2024 recipient of the Kentucky World Language Association (KWLA) Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. She received the award on Sept. 14 at the KWLA Fall Conference.
Ke Peng, a Chinese professor at Western Kentucky University (WKU), is the 2022 recipient of the Kentucky World Language Association (KWLA) Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award. She received the award on Sept. 24 at the KWLA Fall Conference.
Christine Hutchins, a teacher of Chinese at St. Francis School in Louisville, is the 2017 recipient of the Kentucky World Language Association’s Outstanding Teacher Award. She began her teaching career at DuPont Manual High School (Jefferson County).
