At its meeting Oct. 2, the Kentucky Board of Education presented the 18th annual Joseph W. Kelly Award to Robbie Rudolph, president of Rudolph’s Inc. and founder of Four Rivers Foundation in Hickman.
At its meeting Oct. 4, the Kentucky Board of Education presented the 17th annual Joseph W. Kelly Award to C. Ed Massey, a northern Kentucky attorney and a longtime member of the Boone County Board of Education.
House Bill 520 (2017) cleared the way for the first charter schools in the state and during its regular meeting Oct. 4, the Kentucky Board of Education approved four regulations governing the establishment and operation of public charter schools.
