The winners of the seventh annual KACTE Entrepreneurship Event have been announced. The event was sponsored by the Kentucky Association for Career and Technical Education (KACTE) and coordinated by the state advisers of the Career and Technical Education Student Organizations.
During the annual Continuous Improvement Summit Sept. 19 in Lexington, the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) recognized five schools and two districts for best practices.
According to Kentucky Department of Education staff, additional money will be needed to implement Senate Bill 1 (2017).

By the third week of the TELL Survey, more than three-quarters of Kentucky’s school-based educators had completed the survey of school working conditions. The survey, which is now in its fourth week, runs through Friday.
More than half of Kentucky’s school-based educators have taken part in the TELL (Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning) Survey of school working conditions in just the first two weeks of the survey.
