KDE announces new regional arts specialists

The Kentucky Department of Education has started a new program of regional arts specialists. Teachers, schools and districts will be able to utilize these individuals as an arts resource for their school and district.

Water-quality education grant awarded to KEEC

Bullitt teacher named elementary PE teacher of the year

Dennis Minnis Dennis Minnis, a physical education teacher at North Bullitt High School (Bullitt County), has been named the 2016 Elementary School Physical Education Teacher of the Year by the Kentucky Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD). Study Buddy sessions make classrooms without borders possible

Through a collaborative effort between schools in western Kentucky and Grace English School in Guatemala, several hundred Kentucky students are learning about Spanish language and culture, while more than 100 Guatemalan students are learning both written and spoken English.
