The Educational Theatre Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Educational Theatre Association, is launching a partnership with the upcoming NBC-TV show RISE. The R.I.S.E America Project is a $500,000 grant opportunity for high school theater programs nationwide.

Derby poster contest open to high school students

Students in grades 9-12 are invited to submit original artwork for the Governor’s Derby Poster Contest. Students are invited to submit their rendition of what they think Derby day looks like, with the winning poster to be displayed in the Capitol.

The KET Young Writers Contest gives students in grades K-8 the opportunity to ignite their imaginations through creative writing. Judges needed for National History Day competitions

The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS) is seeking judges for its National History Day in Kentucky regional and state contests. Regional contests will take place March 3-24 at five colleges and universities across the state, and the state contest will be April 21 in Lexington.
