The Kentucky Council Teachers of Mathematics (KCTM) is now accepting applications for the 2017 Teacher Support Grant.

KCTM will award up to three grants of up to $1,000 each to encourage and support the efforts of classroom teachers in the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies in the field of mathematics. Projects do not necessarily need to be a new idea, but one that promotes the teaching and learning of mathematics in keeping with the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics standards.

The grants will be awarded at the annual awards banquet on Nov. 3. This competitive grant program is designed to encourage creativity in the classroom, enhance instructional methods, foster imaginative teaching, and promote the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels.
