What: 2025 STLP State Championship – Kentucky’s premier celebration of student innovation, creativity and leadership with technology

When: 10 a.m.-noon. ET on Wednesday, April 23

Where: Central Bank Center and Rupp Arena, 430 West Vine St., Lexington

Why: The Kentucky Department of Education’s Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP) State Championship shines a spotlight on the most vibrant examples of student-led learning through technology in Kentucky. With hundreds of student projects and live challenges in areas like coding, robotics and media production, STLP shows what’s possible when students lead their learning.

The event also features the announcement of state champions in 24+ Creative Digital Arts categories, including digital photography, animation, video, music, augmented reality and storytelling.

Top student project teams will be named 2025 STLP State Champions and go on to represent Kentucky as guest presenters at the International Society for Technology in Education Conference in San Antonio, Texas, this summer.
