This was the first time I have visited the HOSA-Future Health Professionals annual state leadership conference. I shot a few of the competitive events including nursing assisting, biotechnology and sports medicine. It was interesting to watch the students, dressed for the part in their scrubs, put their knowledge to use in real-world skills. I heard students networking, picking up information about summer classes and narrowing down their career desires in health occupations.
