Four staff members from the Pulaski County schools were chosen to receive the district’s PRISM (Pulaski Recognizes Innovative Staff Members) Award. The award recognizes staff members who have demonstrated innovative techniques and strategies that support student success and welfare.
The recipients are:
- Courtney Frye, Nancy Elementary School
- Doug Grider, Southwestern High School
- Kathy Molen, Oak Hill Elementary School
- Jeannie Smith, Northern Middle School
District employees are nominated by their colleagues for the award. Recipients are chosen by the district’s curriculum team based on the level of the employee’s dedication and commitment, uniqueness of the activity, evidence of curricular success, degree of benefit to students, demonstration of focus on school and district goals and mission and inclusion of minority students, especially as identified in gap analysis plans.
