Kentucky Educational Television (KET) is offering a new series of online videos to complement the current session of the General Assembly.

Social Studies Shorts, each about three minutes long, are designed for grades 4 through 8. They will explore social studies and civics topics in Kentucky, the nation and the world. Each includes activity suggestions from other Kentucky teachers.

Videos that have been posted so far include the Kentucky governor, General Assembly and presidential inaugurations. New episodes will be added each month.
