In celebration of Black History Month, Kentucky to the World (KTW) announced a video based, online program for students, featuring Pulitzer Award winner journalist and author Dana Canedy.
Viewers can tune in on the KTW YouTube channel and stream or download two complementary student program segments.
The two segments include:
- An hour-long interview with Richard Green, former editor of the Courier-Journal, where Canedy speaks freely about the triumphs and tragedies of her spectacular career and offers a hopeful and optimistic view of the future.
- A segment hosted by Addison Schanie and Kayden Mulrooney, hosts of Atherton on Air and students at the Atherton High School (Jefferson County) Media Arts Academy, where Canedy and Green respond and comment on questions posed by Kentucky students.
Educators and students also may access comprehensive learning support materials on the KTW website. For more information email David X. Thurmond.
