The U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has launched the Road Safety Kids’ Art Contest for students in grades K-6 as part of its goal of reducing crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.
The contest will recognize one grand prize winner and five honorable mention selections in each of two categories: grades K-2 and grades 3-6. All 12 students recognized will have their artwork featured in a 2018 calendar and on the FMCSA website.
The entry deadline is Sept. 24. Visit the FMCSA website for more information.
