Schools are invited to participate in the Kentucky NEED (National Energy Education Development) Project’s Youth Awards Program for Energy Achievement, which encourages and rewards student leadership and innovation.

Schools may submit digital portfolios of their energy activities. The top teachers and students will be recognized at the state and national levels and will be invited to attend the Kentucky NEED Youth Awards luncheon April 27 in Frankfort and the National Youth Energy Conference and Awards June 23-26 in Arlington, Va. At the national conference, students can work with their peers to explore new energy activities and NEED teachers have the opportunity to network.
