Fab School Labs, an online contest in which five schools can win an “extreme makeover” for their science, math, engineering or technology laboratories, is open to public middle schools.
The contest is designed to encourage students’ interest in STEM education by creating classrooms and labs that can inspire them. Winning schools will receive grants of up to $100,000 from the Northrop Grumman Foundation to fund a school lab makeover that will give students access to the latest technology and learning tools.
Teachers, principals and administrators may enter their schools through June 17. Semifinalists will be chosen, and an online vote will be part of the final selection process. Click here for more information.
