A workshop for teachers on infusing literacy curriculum with humane education content will be April 7 at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green.

The free workshop will be conducted by Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART). Participants will learn ways to foster empathy and compassion, promote critical thinking and help students discuss real-world issues facing people, animals and the environment.
