The Kentucky School Counselor Association (KSCA) is accepting nominations for awards and proposals for its annual conference Feb. 23-24 at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington.
Awards will be presented in these categories: Outstanding Elementary School Counselor, Outstanding Middle School Counselor, Outstanding High School Counselor, KSCA Principal of the Year, Angela Wilkins Helping Hand Award, Pamela Kay Gabbard Emerging Leader Award, Active Retired Member Award, Linda Morse Leadership Award and Outstanding Mentor Award.
The nomination deadline is Dec. 31. Visit the KSCA website to nominate someone for an award or email Lindsey Wilson for more information.
Proposals for the conference should be in three- and six-hour preconference sessions and 50-minute breakout sessions. The submission deadline is Dec. 8. Visit the KSCA website or email Britane Swank for more information.
