The Kentucky NEED (National Energy Education Development) Project is offering four second-semester energy education workshops for educators who want to learn more about energy and the resources available through the NEED program.

Participants will engage in Kentucky Academic Standards-aligned activities that cover forms and sources of energy, energy transformations and more.

The schedule of workshops, with links to register:

  • Feb. 21 – 300 Building, Frankfort
  • Feb. 28 – Natural Bridge State Resort Park, Slade
  • March 2 – Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights
  • March 8 – James E. Bruce Conference Center, Hopkinsville

The workshops are free and substitute reimbursement is provided. Participants also will receive free curricula and information on how to receive a free NEED energy kit. Email Karen Reagor for more information.
