The Kentucky Association of School Administrators, the Kentucky Association of School Councils and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt will host two professional learning opportunities Nov. 1-2 in Lexington and Hopkinsville featuring growth mindset speaker David Dockterman. Dockterman is a nationally recognized pioneer in the development and implementation of technology for classroom instruction.

Mindsets are beliefs about yourself and your most basic qualities. The growth mindset – the understanding of intelligence and abilities as qualities we can develop – has been shown repeatedly to have powerful ramifications on student motivation, learning and school success.
