The Kentucky Historical Society and the University of Kentucky College of Education will conduct a short professional learning workshop for social studies teachers and other interested educators April 29 on the UK campus in Lexington.

The 90-minute workshop, “Taking a Stand in History,” will have one session on the key elements of the inquiry design model and one session on the role of citizen activism in American history.
