The University of the Cumberlands’ history and political science department will host a free professional development program, “Understanding Federalism: From the Founding to Modern America,” on Feb. 27 in Williamsburg.

The program will consist of lectures and seminar discussions of primary source materials related to the topic. The source materials and recorded lectures on a variety of topics and how the content can tie into Kentucky standards will soon be available on the department’s website.
