The Central Kentucky Educational Cooperative invites teams of educators to participate in a professional learning and collaboration opportunity in Kentucky’s statewide Common Assignment System (CAS).

The CAS brings together local educators as instructional leaders to develop units of study that embody the Kentucky Academic Standards and enhance literacy across the curriculum. The work began as a research study and is now being introduced statewide based on best practices discovered during the research phase.

Participants in this collaboration will create and implement at least two common assignment units of study and attend several meetings, workshops and professional learning days during the 2017-18 school year.
