Nominations are open for the Writing Program Advisory Committee, a board appointed by the Kentucky Board of Education (KBE) to analyze the program of studies of grades 7-10 and to make recommendations to KBE concerning all areas related to writing programs.

The board, which is required by Kentucky Revised Statute 158.770, is composed of nine members and typically meets once a year.

Nominees must submit a resume and cover letter for themselves or their nominee explaining their background and interest in serving on the board by Aug. 31 to Leann Pickerill.
