The Central Kentucky High School Mathematics Circle, a weekend enrichment activity for students in grades 8-12 with an interest in mathematics, begins its new year with an organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at 654 Maxwelton Court in Lexington.

The circle is led by faculty and students from local colleges and universities. The informal sessions will consist of students and leaders working together on a series of problems.
