The award recognizes outstanding educators and their dedication to teaching. By nominating a deserving teacher, you contribute to appreciating exceptional teaching practices in the educational community.

State winners receive $1,000, free entry to the Gilder Lehrman Teacher Symposium, free classroom materials and recognition at a ceremony in their state. The national winner receives $10,000 and is honored at a ceremony in New York City.
