Murray State University is offering a professional development opportunity for English language arts teachers on Sept. 16.

Topics will include strategies for student engagement, resources for teaching literature, writing assignment ideas and using literacy theory in the high school English classroom. This opportunity is free of charge, counts as five hours of professional development and lunch is provided.
