The Educators’ Professional Implementation Center (EPIC) is hosting professional learning opportunities focused on American documents and speeches with teaching, content and literacy experts.

The 24 fundamental documents are listed in KRS 158.196 as required teachings for middle and high school students in Kentucky, but given the complexity of some of the documents, educators will need to learn how to make them more accessible to students.

Participants will learn about lessons and strategies through modeling by experts. Additionally, participants will receive a resource kit for classroom use. Breakfast and lunch are included with registration.

The events will be hosted between July 2023 and February 2024 in Bowling Green, Somerset, Grand Rivers and Elizabethtown. To learn more about the event and to register, visit the EPIC event webpage. All participants must pay $750 to participate.
