In partnership with PBS LearningMedia, GBH Education is hosting a free ELA-focused webinar for teachers of grades 6-12 on June 9 at 7 p.m. ET.

The webinar, “Poetry and Literature Brought to Life: Showcasing ELA Resources on PBS LearningMedia,” will show teachers how they can use free digital resources on PBS LearningMedia to help make literature and writing more relatable and encourage all students to embrace language arts.

Speakers will showcase a wide range of classroom-ready resources drawn from award-winning PBS programs and projects such as MASTERPIECE, Poetry in America, American Masters and It’s Lit, a series of smart, funny video essays exploring current issues in literature and authors ranging from the Harlem Renaissance era to J. R. R. Tolkien. Attendees also will get a sneak peek at resources to-be-published on PBS LearningMedia in upcoming months.
