Student filmmakers in grades K-12 are invited to submit short films for the White House Student Film Festival. The theme is “The Impact of Giving Back,” and students may tell a story about paying it forward, community service and what it looks like to make a difference.
Films may be no more than three minutes in length and must be uploaded to YouTube. Submissions are due by Jan. 20.
The White House will pick films in mid-February, and the film festival will be held in the spring. Selections will also be featured on the White House website and shared around the world on White House sites and official social media accounts.
