An Education Week webinar aimed at helping teachers meet the new English/Language Arts standards will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 8.

Webinar topics will include:

  • Increasing the quantity of writing throughout the school day
  • Helping students improve writing by analyzing complex texts
  • Making the writing process a vehicle of instruction
  • Teaching opinion and informative/explanatory writing across the curriculum
