In honor of Kentucky’s public servants and Public Service Recognition Week, Oct. 5-11, students are invited to participate in the 2014 Public Service Recognition Poster Contest.

The theme of the week, “Making a difference, every day in every way,” should be expressed through the artwork. Entries will be judged in three categories.

• Ages 6-9
• Ages 10-13
• Ages 14-18

Winners receive a $100 award and an invitation to a special ceremony at the Capitol in October. Entries must be postmarked by Sept. 12.
