Safe Schools Week is Oct. 20-26, and the Kentucky Center for School Safety encourages all schools across Kentucky to participate.
The week’s focus will be on “Safety,” “Teamwork,” “Opportunities,” and “Power” — all stakeholders will be encouraged to get involved and S.T.O.P.! Bullying, Violence and Risky Behavior in schools, which supports a safe, respectful, climate where all can succeed.
The Center for School Safety has developed a new booklet of handouts that includes online activities for the week. The handbook offers ways to use the materials and ideas to assist in the planning process. It is a multi-page booklet which gives an overview of possible ways to use the resources provided.
