The Western Kentucky Assistive Technology Center will offer iPad training for parents of children with disabilities. The training includes a basic overview of how to navigate the iPad and an opportunity to review apps designed for people with special needs. An iPad will be available for each participant during the training.
The training is great opportunity for parents to explore the iPad prior to making a purchase.
The training sessions will be Oct. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT and 6 to 7:30 p.m. CT, and Oct. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. CT and 10:30 a.m. to noon CT.
The classes will be at Wendell Foster’s Campus in the Green Therapy Pavilion in Owensboro. There is a limit of 10 individuals per session. To reserve a spot, contact Cindy Huston at (270) 852-1478.
