Workshop on KTIP available for first-year teachers

The Jesse Stuart Literacy Council is offering a workshop for first-year teachers Aug. 4 at Madison Central High School in Richmond. “Surviving KTIP and Your First Year” is for teachers about to enter the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program. Fayette teacher honored by Technology Student Association

Robin Johnson Robin Johnson, a business education teacher and Technology Student Association (TSA) adviser at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (Fayette County), has received the Honorary Life Award, TSA’s highest recognition, for her service and dedication to the state and national organizations. Johnson was honored at TSA’s annual national conference June 28-July 2 in Nashville, Tenn.

Louisville Writing Project to host mini-conference

The Louisville Writing Project will host a writing mini-conference Aug. 27 at the University of Louisville’s College of Education.
