National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Landmarks of American History and Culture programs are one-week workshops held across the nation.

These opportunities incorporate place-based approaches to humanities teaching and scholarship. K-12 educators are encouraged to apply. All participants are eligible to receive a stipend to help offset costs related to attending an Institutes or Landmarks program.

Applications are due on March 5. Visit the NEH’s Division of Education Professional Development Programs for more information about the workshops being offered this summer and to apply. You may contact the NEH Landmarks of American History and Culture email with additional questions.
