Professional development workshops are being offered by the University of Kentucky’s Holocaust Education Initiative.

The workshops are available for Kentucky teachers or pre-service teachers, regardless of discipline.

Kentucky teachers in grade levels under the Holocaust education mandate (grades 6-12) are eligible for stipends. All others – pre-service teachers, teachers outside of Kentucky, or those who teach grades other than 6-12 – may attend for professional development hours.

Participants may earn a $250 stipend or 10 hours of professional development, depending on eligibility. Visit the University of Kentucky’s Holocaust Education Initiative workshops page for details.
