The Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, which fosters children’s love of reading and creative expression in America’s diverse culture, is celebrating the 30th year of its mini-grant program with a call for proposals.

According to the foundation’s website, the grant “is an opportunity for a public school teacher or librarian to present a special project outside the standard curriculum or an engaging way to help students meet curricular goals.”

Approximately 60 grants of up to $500 each will be awarded to qualifying teachers and librarians in public schools and libraries across the country. The deadline for submissions is March 31.
