It’s a new year with new virtual professional learning opportunities that keep you learning in the field of mathematics from the comfort of your home.
PD in your PJs
Graham Fletcher and Christina Tondevold are providing free trainings for elementary teachers to better understand how children learn mathematics. Each training will be about three hours, see session details below.
- Build Your Students’ Fact Fluency in 5 Days Using Number Talks
Christina Tondevold will demonstrate how to lay a solid foundation as they build strategies for addition (prek-2) and multiplication (3rd-5th). Throughout the training she will discuss common issues educators might encounter as students are developing strategies and she will include a video of a number talk with students.
