The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is offering a free professional learning workshop on teaching economics and personal finance through children’s literature Oct. 19 at Drury Inn in Bowling Green.

Participants can learn new ways to teach economic and personal finance concepts to elementary students using popular children’s books. Learn how to use new lessons with interactive whiteboard applications from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Each attendee will receive standards-based, printed curriculum materials that are classroom ready, a children’s book for his or her classroom library and dinner.
