Registration is open for the Kentucky Historical Society’s 2017 Kentucky History Education Conference for K-12 educators July 13-14 at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort.
The conference explores a broad American history theme with Kentucky connections; this year’s theme is “Conflict and Compromise in History.” Sessions provide teachers with the opportunity to learn content, obtain resources, hear from leading scholars and learn about other educators’ proven classroom strategies. A field study bus tour of sites related to the conference theme will take participants to Berea College.
The registration deadline is June 30. Click here to register or email Claire Gwaltney for more information.
