U.S.A. Gold pencils and Scholastic are conducting The Next Great Inventor contest, a competition for students in grades 1-6 designed to help teachers incorporate STEM-themed projects into their curriculum.

Teachers may submit pencil sketches and/or written descriptions of their students’ original invention ideas. Two winners in each of three grade-level divisions will receive $500 in cash and gift cards, and their teachers will receive a year’s supply of pencils and other classroom supplies and a $100 gift card.
