Students are invited to apply for scholarships offered by The Race for Education, which provides opportunities for educational success for young people with significant financial need and academic challenges.

Available scholarships include:

  • The Horsemen’s Scholarship, offering up to $5,000 per year to a student whose family is employed in the equine industry. It is intended primarily for children of horse farm and/or racetrack backstretch workers.
  • The 4-H ‘Leg Up’ Scholarship, offering $500 per year to one high school senior who is a 4-H horse program club member in each Kentucky 4-H club.
