The Kentucky Storytelling Conference will be Nov. 4-5 at the Pike County Public Library District, Lee Avenue Branch, in Pikeville.
The event includes featured storytellers Jonatha and Harold Wright, who specialize in Japanese, Ohio and Ohio Appalachian stories of all genres; as well as workshops on various aspects of storytelling, storytelling concerts, open-mic sessions and a competitive StorySlam.
Advance registration discounts are available through Oct. 28, but participants also may register at the door. Participating educators are eligible for up to 11.5 hours of continuing education credit. Click here for more information.
