Kentucky social studies teachers are invited to apply for the University of Louisville McConnell Center Civics Education Program’s 2016-17 Teacher Scholars Program. Participants will debate the legacies of John Adams and Alexander Hamilton, study Shakespeare’s lessons in statesmanship and follow the inauguration of a new president during the nine-month program. A fully funded travel immersion program is scheduled for summer 2017.

The application deadline is Sept. 1.
