The Kentucky Regional Braille Challenge gave blind and visually-impaired students a chance to test their Braille skills and compete for prizes. Those students were celebrated throughout the daylong event Feb. 18 at the Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) and the American Printing House for the Blind.

About 40 students from KSB and other schools around the state took part in the annual competition. There also were opening and closing ceremonies, as well as post-competition activities, such as a workshop in which younger students could try out a number of percussion instruments.
