Teachers are invited to take their classes to the 2016 Murray Shakespeare Festival to see the American Shakespeare Center perform the Roman tragedy “Julius Caesar” March 9-10 at Murray State University’s Lovett Auditorium.
“Julius Caesar” offers an opportunity to teach students about Roman history and the intersections of friendship, betrayal and national politics.
Daytime performances will be at 10 a.m. CT each day. Tickets are $7, with teachers, chaperones and bus drivers admitted free. The shows are expected to sell out.
