The Kentucky NEED Project has scheduled 13 free workshops for teachers on energy education for this fall across Kentucky.
The Kentucky NEED Project is the state program of the National Energy Education Development, which focuses on K-12 energy education. Its workshops include grade-level appropriate energy activities and curricula that support the Kentucky Academic Standards in science and other disciplines, as well as curriculum materials.
The schedule includes:

- Oct. 1, Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park, Gilbertsville
- Oct. 14, Pine Mountain State Resort Park, Pineville
- Oct. 15, Morehead Conference Center, Morehead
- Oct. 20, Leadership and Conference Center, Georgetown College, Georgetown
- Oct. 22, Carroll Knicely Center, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green
- Oct. 27, Hampton Inn & Suites Owensboro Downtown, Owensboro
- Oct. 27, The Blair Center at Southside Elementary School, Shelbyville
- Oct. 29, All Occasions, Campbellsville
- Nov. 5, Madisonville Community and Technical College, Madisonville
- Nov. 12, Maysville Community and Technical College, Maysville
