The Ky NT3’s Classroom Teachers Enacting Positive Solutions (CTEPS) initiative is seeking National Board Certified Teachers (NBCT) from across Kentucky to support each other in its work to propose, implement and reflect on solutions to the challenges we face in our classrooms, schools and districts. CTEPS will collaborate throughout the 2015-16 school year to create, research, implement and reflect on a plan to remove barriers to student learning.
Participating teachers must hold an active National Board Certification and serve as a full-time classroom teacher or library media specialist. They must create, enact and reflect on a plan to solve a problem in a classroom, school or district and must work with the appropriate personnel to see that the plan receives support.
Participants must attend at least 85 percent of twice-monthly webinars and up to three in-person meetings. Teachers will earn a stipend of $1,500 at the completion of all elements of the program. The application deadline is Aug. 25. For more information, e-mail Lauren Hill to request a link to a virtual question and answer session at 7 p.m. ET Aug. 17. Click here to apply.
