Teams of two to three teachers are invited to participate in a mathematics training session presented by Kentucky Educational Television on June 19 in Lexington.

The training will be led by nationally recognized mathematics educator and writer Linda Sheffield, who will lead a hands-on workshop on fraction multiplication and division and proportional reasoning.

The day will include an introduction to mathematics courses available from KET and PBS LearningMedia and individual team planning time, and Kentucky Department of Education mathematics consultant Krista Hall will be on hand to offer teams advice and assistance.
